Possibilities and limits of online streetwork with people afflicted by substance abuse disorder

The thesis Possibilities and Limits of Online Streetwork with People Afflicted by Substance Abuse Disorder deals with the providing of field social service in the online space. The aim of the work was to describe the possibilities and limits of streetwork with drug users in the online space. The theoretical part presents knowledge related to social work with a given target group, such as streetwork method, contact work, crisis intervention and harm reduction. The second chapter focuses on online work in social services itself. The practical part of the thesis presents the process and results o qualitative research realized by the method of semi-structured interviews with field social workers at social service called Jihočeský streetwork PREVENT in České Budějovice. This organization works with substance abusers and provides its service, among other things, in the online space.

This Diploma thesis deals with the possibility od use of person-centered approach in field social work in streetwork. This thesis is made on the basis of a research of relevant literature. The theoretical part describes metamfetamin and other most commonly used drugs, along with defining the target population of metamfetamin users. Furthermore, the streework and the person-centered approach are disscussed. The thesis also illustrates an alternative method of harm reduction psychotherapy, which is further decribed in a example case of a client.
The satisfaction evaluation of the drop-in centres clients within the area of Zlín region of pandemic COVID-19

ITRODUCTION: Worldwide pandemic COVID-19 and enforcement of restriction measurements necessary to limit the virus spreading in area of public health has affected entire aspects of modern life and impacted inter alia also the area of using drugs, the drug trade including social and medical reactions to the drug phenomenon. As a result of taking the measurements the pressure on addictology services, their operations, the employees and last but not least the clients was getting stronger and stronger. AIM: The purpose of the work was to determine the scale of satisfaction/ dissatisfaction of the clients within the area of Zlín region contact centers with the interventions and services offered during the period of time in context of pandemic COVID-19 and maintaining anti-pandemic measures in order to minimize the impact of pandemic upon the clients and the contact centers' employees and to check this way the ability of the Drop-in centers to react and adjust flexibly to the current situation. METHODS: The respondents were chosen by intentional selection via the institutions. The mean of feedback represented the satisfaction evaluation. Experiences of clients of the aftercare centers in Prague with employment at the job market

Background: There are many researches on the topic of employing (ex) drug users in abroad, but a little works in the Czech Republic. Its pioneers did not aim specifically to describe a group of clients of aftercare centers who are most closely to the working process. Aims: In cooperation with three Prague aftercare centers (Drop In, Magdaléna, SANANIM) and Work and social agency SANANIM to map and describe job experiences of their clients on the job market. Next aim is to create a typology of clients in the aftercare centers according to their current un/employment. Complex of recommendations how to prevent mistakes at the job market was suggested. Methods: Quantitative and qualitative research methods were used to data collection - a questionnaire to map experiences of clients at the job market and interviews for detailed description of client types. Data analysis was carried out by open cosiny and descriptive statistics. All the ethical questions were kept. Sample: Basic population was created by all current clients of aftercare centers in Prague. It was necessary to fulfil these criteria: to be current client of some of the centers, to have at least one contact with the job market during the aftercare programme and to give an agreement with attendance in the study. Substance use by clients of the outreach program NO BIOHAZARD during the COVID 19 pandemic

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to map the patterns of substance abuse among clients of the outreach program No biohazard. The work aims to find out how and whether these patterns of use changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, which hit the Czech Republic in early March 2020. Due to the global breadth of the pandemic, impacts and restrictions have affected almost all areas of human functioning. One of these areas was also the drug market. This study addresses how the restrictions associated with the pandemic affected the availability, price and quality of substances used among clients and whether during the pandemic the interest of outreach program clients in professional assistance such as treatment or counseling or substitution treatment increased. Research questions also ask about the availability of clean injection material and outreach programs during a pandemic. The study results serve as feedback on the functioning of the field program during the pandemic. The needs of clients in selected aftercare centers in the area of their housing

Background: Aftercare services with an aftercare program in the Czech Republic significantly help to integrate persons with addictological problems into the majority society. However, according to the National Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction, more than 50 % of users of these services are unsuccessful in their aftercare. Objective: The aim of the research is to find out the needs of clients in the area of housing at selected after-treatment centers. Identify whether these needs are met and whether clients' success in aftercare programs is not affected by unmet housing needs. Methodology: The theoretical and practical part of the thesis delimits the research findings. The theoretical part deals with aftercare services with aftercare program and the effect of relapse and relapse in aftercare for addiction.The practical part defines the area of research and with the use of quantitative methods of research comes up with statistical data, which are subsequently interpreted. Results: 7 residential facilities with a capacity of 85 beds participated in the research. The research sample consisted of 76 respondents. Drug users and their potential in the labor market

The employment issue of drug users in the Czech Republic is still in addiction to current research topics. Partly describe the situation in the Czech Republic as the study "Analysis of the needs of treated drug users in terms of their employability" (Miovský, 2006), or documents "Comparative analysis" and "Getting and keeping a job." Support in entering the labor market ", which arose in the context of the international project" Prague - Vienna, issue of employment and work integration of people at risk of drug addiction "(Ambrož, 2012).
